General Responsibilities:

Before operations:

· Plan out the seating chart and organize the reservations;

· Check with manager to assure there are no large or private parties you do not know about;

· Answer incoming telephone calls in a prompt and professional manner;

· Keep complete track and be updated with all the reservations so as to make the arrangements accordingly and perfectly;

During operations:

· Greet customers in a professional and warm welcoming manner, introduce yourself;

· Escort the customers to their table, pull the seat out for the ladies and present the menus;

· Make sure the server is aware that the customers have been seated;

· Keep the counts for individual server so things come out fair at the end of the night;

· Keep in constant contact with the servers and the kitchen staff;

· Keep a very orderly host stand during business hours;

· Give the costumers a warm goodbye when leaving, check to see if everything was wonderful. You are the last impression the guests have;

· Report all special request, guest complains or problems to the Manager, regardless how small you think they are.


· Must have experience of minimum 1 year;

· Education: MAVO level;

· English and Spanish a must, multi-lingual a plus;

· Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedure;

· Food handlers permit required.
