Restaurant Supervisor

General Responsibilities

·      Maintain a high level of customer’s satisfaction at all times;

·     Collaborate with the operations manager to develop and carry out ideas and procedures to improve service performance;

·      Analyze and plan restaurant sales and profitably together with the operations manager;

·      Promote the restaurant and functions to potential clients;

·      Coordinate tasks and schedules of establishment employees;

·      Conduct performance reviews of all floor employees;

·      Communicate any stock shortages to the operation manager in timely manner;

·    Communicate with the operations manager regarding any problems or changes needed service-wise;

·     Ensure effective communication by attending meetings with manager and staff as required and on a regular basis;

·      Maintain hygienic food handling practices;

·      Ensure that the restaurant remains in an impeccable state;

·      Ensure the safety of the staff and costumers during service and after leaving;

·      Ensure all tasks for setting up, serving and closing are done correctly;

·      Supervise the accurate, taking, setting up and confirmation of bookings;

·      Ensure that all employees adhere to the company’s uniform standards;

·      Manage the restaurant’s reputation by checking online customers reviews.

 

Requirement/Experience/ Knowledge

·      Education: HAVO diploma or HAVO-5 declaration;

·      Food handlers permit required (carchi berde);

·      Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays;

·      English and Spanish a must; multilingual a plus.
